Terms of service

These terms and conditions (together with the information and policies contained in the "Customer Service" pages on the website and any other documents referred in these terms and conditions) (Terms and Conditions) set out the legal terms that apply to your use of the website www.geleri.co. By accessing or using our website, you accept these terms in full.


SCOPE OF APPLICATION

These T&C apply to all contracts concluded between you as a consumer (hereinafter referred to as "Client" or "you") and GELERI (hereinafter referred to as "Seller" or "we") concerning the purchase of goods and services offered on our website. A consumer is any natural person entering into a legal transaction predominantly for purposes that are outside their trade, business, or profession.

Our online shop is intended exclusively for private consumers. Business clients and resellers should contact us directly for inquiries.


CONTRACT FORMATION AND ORDER CORRECTIONS

Products in our shop can be placed in the shopping cart without obligation. Before submitting your binding order, you can review and amend your details using the tools provided during the checkout process. By clicking the order button, you confirm a binding purchase offer for the items in your cart.

After we receive payment confirmation from your chosen payment provider (see below under "Payment"), we will send an order confirmation and invoice to your provided email address. The contract is deemed concluded upon our transmission of this confirmation.

For your records, you may save the order details and these T&C on a durable medium. Please note that, for security reasons, the contract text is not accessible online after completion.


DELIVERY TERMS

1. Deliveries are made exclusively to the address provided during checkout. Pickup by the Client is not available.
2. We reserve the right to deliver items in multiple shipments.
3. If delivery is unsuccessful due to circumstances within your responsibility (e.g., providing an incorrect address), you may bear the costs of the failed delivery attempt. This does not apply if you validly exercise your statutory cancellation rights or if the delivery failure is attributable to us.
4. If items are delivered with visible damage caused in transit, we kindly request that you immediately notify the delivery service and contact us. This ensures we can pursue claims with the carrier. Failure to notify us does not affect your statutory rights.


DELIVERY TIMES

1. After shipping your order, we will provide a tracking number via email. Within Germany, orders typically arrive within 48 hours; for other EU countries, delivery may take 2–5 business days.
2. Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed, particularly during promotions or peak periods.
3. Handmade or made-to-order items usually require 1–2 weeks for delivery.


SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery location and are shown during checkout. These costs are displayed alongside individual product details when applicable.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

We accept payments through Shopify Payments, which includes the following methods:

- Credit Cards: Charges are processed immediately upon placing your order.
- PayPal: Payments are handled by PayPal upon order submission. Specific instructions are provided during checkout.
-Google Pay and Apple Pay: Payments are processed directly after order submission.
-Klarna: Payments require address and credit checks and are handled directly by Klarna.

TAXES AND DUTIES
  1. Prices include VAT for deliveries within the EU.
  2. Additional customs duties or import taxes may apply for deliveries outside the EU. These fees are the responsibility of the Client and are not included in the displayed shipping costs.
RETENTION OF OWNERSHIP

Ownership of the goods remains with us until full payment is received.

 

RIGHT OF CANCELLATION

As all GELERI pieces are made to order and produced according to the customer’s specifications, the right of cancellation does not apply.


LIABILITY

1. We are liable for damages resulting from willful misconduct or gross negligence.
2. For minor negligence, our liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and foreseeable damages.
3. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory liability under the Product Liability Act or for personal injury caused by negligence.


APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

German law applies to all contracts, excluding the conflict of laws provisions and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer domiciled in another EU country, mandatory consumer protection laws of your domicile may also apply.

For Clients without a general place of jurisdiction in Germany or whose residence is unknown at the time of legal action, the courts at our business address (Heckmannufer 4a, 10997 Berlin) shall have exclusive jurisdiction. However, we may also pursue claims at the Client’s place of residence.
